IBS – Index Brake System

  • freno posteriore radiale a indice

Following up the great success of the TBS (Thumb Brake System), IMA now proposes the IBS (Index Brake System).
The IBS applies to the handlebar and allows for left-hand rear brake drive (scooter style).
The riding benefits are the same as the thumb brake, but the IBS works by pulling instead of pushing, the lever is longer and the braking effect is enhanced.
The master cylinder features harmonious and compact shapes for a small encumbrance, as well as a proportionate bore in order to offer an excellent braking feeling.
Product ideal for track use, whereas the clutch is now rarely used and can be moved to make room for a second lever (usually the clutch lever is rotated upwards and the IBS placed in the clutch lever position).
The advancement of the lever is adjustable thanks to the combined action of the adjustable pushing rod and the forward limiter.
The perfect leverage ratio, the study of the components ergonomics and the CAD/CAM machining make IBS a high-mechanical product. The use is very comfortable and the braking is pleasant and performing.
The pedal brake keeping is possible by adding the second DUAL INPUT master cylinder (Complete version).
Offered in 2 versions:
Racing – Single hand brake drive
Complete – Dual drive (hand and foot)
